Ceridian wins awards for innovative products, service, and culture

The American Business Awards (2016): Ceridian wins multiple American Business Awards in several categories recognizing innovation and leadership. Out of more than 3,400 nominations, Ceridian is honoured with a Gold American Business Award (ABA) in the category of best new product for Dayforce TeamRelate, along with two more ABA awards for Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year, and Most Innovative Company of the Year (2,500 + employees). These awards reinforce Ceridian's status as a technology innovator and a market leading cloud company, known for delivering human capital management technology solutions. The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program, recognizing outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide.

Network Product Guides' IT World Awards (2016): Ceridian wins three IT World Awards from Network Products Guide, a leading technology research and advisory guide, for Dayforce TeamRelate. Dayforce TeamRelate was recognized with awards across multiple categories including mobile application, cloud solution, and networking/collaboration. The awards reinforce Ceridian's status as a market leading cloud company and validate the organization's differentiated approach to combining personalized coaching, communication suggestions, and daily check-ins with the everywhere access of mobile technology. Integrating this functionality within the robust human capital management feature set of Dayforce HCM means insights on communication style for continuous performance development can occur seamlessly with other workforce management processes. Ceridian won an IT World Award in 2015 in the category of Cloud Computing/SaaS for Dayforce ConnectedPay. The IT World Awards honour achievements and recognitions in every facet of the IT industry.

Glassdoor Highest Rated CEO (2016): Ceridian CEO, David Ossip was awarded Glassdoor's Highest Rated CEO recognition for 2016. This is the second consecutive year that David Ossip has received this honor. Glassdoor released its annual report recognizing top leaders in countries throughout North America and parts of Europe. CEO approval ratings are based on anonymous and voluntary reviews, gathered through Glassdoor's online company review survey, which seeks to gain current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture. The CEOs on this list have earned the approval and respect of their employees, evidenced by the feedback shared on Glassdoor.

TekTonic awards (2016): Ceridian wins a 2016 TekTonic award from HRO Today Magazine, in the category of Performance Management for Dayforce TeamRelate. The prestigious accolade is Ceridian’s fifth TekTonic award following wins in the Payroll category in 2015 and 2013, and in the Workforce Management and Overall HR categories in 2012. This latest TekTonic award recognizes that HR can deliver strategic value to the entire organization for immediate impact by promoting communication, engagement and trust, and reinforces the company’s commitment to progressive, value driven Human Capital Management technology and overall HCM excellence.

Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award (2016): Ceridian Canada is honoured with A Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognizing the Best Places to Work in 2016. The Employees’ Choice Awards program relies solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor. Ceridian Canada holds a ranking of #2 amongst 445,000 companies across 190 countries on Glassdoor.

Employees' Choice Award (2015): Ceridian was recognized as a top employer by the Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Chamber of Commerce in the 2014-15 Employee's Choice Awards. Based entirely on the merits of employee surveys and qualitative feedback, the Employees' Choice Awards provide a barometer of overall employee satisfaction and engagement.

Technology ROI Award from Nucleus Research (2015): PSK Supermarkets is a recipient of a Technology ROI Award from Nucleus Research for its implementation of Dayforce Human Capital Management. The awards recognize the top 10 technology deployments each year based on their bottom-line financial return on investment (ROI). The Technology ROI awards demonstrate strong best practices for optimizing business results while maximizing value. For PSK Supermarkets this meant automating many manual processes involved with timekeeping, scheduling, labor costs optimization and payroll reporting. The implementation of Dayforce HCM resulted in a 1688% ROI and full project payback within 1.2 months time as determined by Nucleus Research.

Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in North America (2015): Ceridian is recognized as one of The Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in North America – a designation that honours top employers that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces. The panel of judges evaluates applicants on how they measure up to other organizations based on Eight Elements of Employee Engagement™, which are: Communication, Leadership, Culture, Rewards & Recognition, Professional & Personal Growth, Accountability & Performance, Vision & Values and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Canada's Top 100 Employers 2015: Ceridian was honoured with a spot among Canada's Top 100 Employers for the twelfth consecutive year (as featured in the Globe and Mail). Reasons cited for Ceridian's repeated selection include establishing a newly registered charity (Ceridian Cares) to assist individuals and families where Ceridian operates across Canada; maternity leave top-up and extended health benefit coverage; a generous adoption subsidy and support of employees with older children through an academic scholarship program. Additional reasons include: support of employee work and life balance through a variety of alternative work options including flexible hours, shortened and compressed work weeks, telecommuting and a reduced summer hours program; a commitment to ongoing employee development through internal training offerings, tuition and professional accreditation subsidies and career planning services, and support of employee wellness with an annual fitness subsidy and loans for home fitness equipment.

Manitoba's Top 25 Employers 2016: Ceridian returned to the ranks of one of Manitoba's Top 25 Employers for the tenth successive year. (as featured in The Winnipeg Free Press).

Leader in Human Capital Management (April 2015): For the fifth consecutive time, Ceridian is named a leader in Human Capital Management by Nucleus Research. The Technology Value Matrix 2015 for HCM evaluates how leaders such as Ceridian are making strides to improve their solution's functionality and usability: fortifying mobile platforms, streamlining user interfaces, adding modules related to talent management or at the edge of the employee lifecycle and tailoring their products to serve new niches. Dayforce HCM is the definitive leader in usability amongst the competition and its ability to provide deep functionality related to compliance with ACA is noted.

Technology Return On Investment Award (July 2014): Guitar Center wins a 2014 Technology Return On Investment Award from Nucleus Research. Guitar Center's implementation of Dayforce Workforce Management made a multi-million dollar annual impact on productivity. The Technology ROI awards highlight organizations that have successfully leveraged IT deployments to maximize value per dollar spent. Through the use of Dayforce WFM, Guitar Center achieved: 1035% ROI; a payback period of 1.2 months and an average annual benefit of $7,851,528.

The Ventana Research Technology Leadership Award (September 2014): Leslie Daley and The Rush Fitness Complex are honoured with a Ventana Research Technology Leadership Award in the category of Business Innovation: Human Capital Management. The Technology Leadership Awards, presented annually, identify business and IT leaders who are using technologies and applying best practices to provide the top outcomes in productivity, performance and support of an organization's goals.

Hot Vendor in Workforce Management (2014):  Ceridian is named a "Hot" workforce management vendor, by Ventana Research. The 2014 Value Index for Workforce Management evaluates WFM products on usability, manageability, reliability, capability and adaptability while quantifying customer assurance issues, total cost of ownership and return on investment. The Value Index reinforces the fact that Dayforce HCM is a complete workforce management system for today's enterprise regardless of complexity.

The Ventana Research Overall Business Leadership Award (April 2013): Guitar Center, the world's largest retailer of musical instruments, is honored with a Ventana Research Overall Business Leadership award for using Dayforce HCM. The Leadership Awards recognize organizations and supporting technology vendors that have achieved superior results through leveraging people, processes, information and technology.

2014 #hrwins HR Company to Watch (2014): Ceridian is a recipient of the 2014 #hrwins "HR Companies To Watch" award. Select vendors were evaluated on their solution's innovation, the value their technology delivers to the Human Resources profession, and the overall viability of their products. More than 150 vendors were evaluated and 15 were selected to receive the distinction of "HR Companies to Watch." This is the second year in a row Ceridian has received this honour with its Dayforce Human Capital Management solution.

Human Resource Executive® Magazine – Top HR Product of the Year (October 2013): Dayforce Human Capital Management Payroll and Benefits is named a top HR product of the year by Human Resource Executive® Magazine. The annual award recognizes the very best in HR and training products and services that clearly offer value to the HR community while demonstrating innovation.

Golden Bridge (October 2013): Ceridian earns Silver status in the Golden Bridge Awards for Dayforce Touch, in the category of mobile innovation. The coveted annual Golden Bridge Awards program encompasses the world's best in innovative products and services, among several other relevant business categories.

Brandon Hall Excellence Awards (December 2012): Ceridian wins a coveted Brandon Hall gold award for excellence in the category of Best Advance in Unique Talent Technology, for Dayforce Human Capital Management (HCM). The prestigious 2012 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards program recognizes the best of the best in Learning, Talent Management, and Sales and Marketing.

Prix de contribution à l'entreprise/Business Contribution Award (April 2014): Ceridian wins a Business Contribution Award from L'Association du marketing relationnel (AMR), the relationship marketing association of Quebec. This prize, which was presented at the reception Gala Flèche d'or 2014 underlines Ceridian's contribution to the advancement of HCM technology and its commitment to client service. The company and its solutions were evaluated on their ability to increase employee engagement, reduce costs and exceed growth and effectiveness objectives. The Flèche d'or competition was created more than 20 years ago to recognize the quality of relationship marketing strategies and the closely measured results of Quebec campaigns.

Retail TouchPoints Retail Innovator Award (June 2016): Cathy Pryor, Senior Vice President of Store Operations at Hibbett Sports wins a Retail Innovator Award from Retail TouchPoints for automating labour budgeting and scheduling with the Dayforce HCM solution. With labour budgeting and scheduling in one application, adjustments to the labour plan are instantly available to scheduling managers and costly manual processes that took operational staff away from more strategic efforts including the organization's expansion plans have been eliminated.

Retail TouchPoints Retail Innovator Award (July 2014): Crate and Barrel wins a Retail Innovator Award from Retail TouchPoints. Crate and Barrel's labour efficiency and sales conversion improvements are the most significant gains resulting from using Dayforce HCM. Also having an HCM system of record that automatically accounts for a myriad of labour laws has helped the company better relate to associates. The Retail Innovator Award honours executives in the retail industry focused on driving change through innovation.

Retail TouchPoints Store Operations Super Award (August 2014): Talbots (client) receives a Store Operations Superstar award from Retail TouchPoints in the category of Workforce Management. This annual award recognizes organizations that have implemented innovative, successful store operation strategies that tackle intense challenges in a highly competitive omni-channel environment. Dayforce Workforce Management helps Talbots improve accuracy and deployment of people and skills, which not only improves bottom-line costs, but also helps ensure that Talbots provides service level commitments and quality that customers come to expect.

Retail TouchPoints Customer Engagement (December 2013):Aéropostale (client) receives a Customer Engagement Award from Retail TouchPoints in the category of mobile. The brand's customer centric approach includes implementing Dayforce Workforce Management (mobile) to optimize and engage its millennial workforce. Overall, Aero's technological investments streamline its image as a fun, teenage brand and gives customers and employee/brand ambassadors, a consistent experience across all platforms.

Retail TouchPoints Customer Engagement (December 2012): Guitar Center (client) wins a Customer Engagement Award from Retail TouchPoints in the category of Cross-Channel Experience. Guitar Center's customer-centric approach includes implementation of Dayforce Workforce Management The Customer Engagement Awards recognize retailers who are using creativity and innovation to deliver on the promise of customer-centricity.

Retail TouchPoints Store Operations Superstar (October 2012): Aéropostale (client) is honored with a Gold Store Operations Superstar accolade from Retail TouchPoints in the category of Workforce Management, for Dayforce Mobile Workforce Management. This inaugural award recognizes companies that have implemented innovative, successful store operation strategies that tackle retail business challenges and lead the way in a rapidly changing environment.

The Constellation SuperNova Awards (November 2012): Guitar Center, the world's largest retailer of musical instruments, is honoured with a SuperNova Award from Constellation Research in the category of Future of Work, for incorporating Dayforce Workforce Management into their business strategy and day-to-day operations. The SuperNova Awards recognize business leaders who carry out the implementation and adoption of disruptive technologies within their organizations in pursuit of corporate innovation and efficiency.

The MarCom Awards (November 2012): Ceridian's Employee Assistance, Work-Life and Wellness Program - LifeWorks – received three MarCom Gold awards for outstanding creative achievement in website design, blog development and program communication materials. The MarCom Awards is a creative competition that pays tribute to the achievements, creativity and hard work of marketing and communications professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of materials and programs.

Golden Bridge (October 2012): Ceridian earns the prestigious Gold status in the Golden Bridge Awards for Dayforce Human Capital Management. The coveted annual Golden Bridge Awards program encompasses the world's best in innovative products and services, among several other relevant business categories. Dayforce HCM beat leading SaaS-based solutions providers in the category of Innovative Products and Services/SaaS to take the win.

Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Payroll Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Services (2015, 2014, 2013 & 2012): Gartner positions Ceridian as a leader in Payroll Business Process Outsourcing Services. The Gartner Magic Quadrant report offers in-depth analysis of the capabilities of companies in the payroll BPO services market. The report evaluates companies on their strategic vision to grow their payroll services business and their ability to execute on this strategy and deliver superior payroll services to clients. Companies in the "Leader" quadrant have superior market understanding, continuous technological innovation, payroll administration research, and strong financial viability.

2013 Global Outsourcing 100: For the eighth consecutive year, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) recognized Ceridian HCM, Inc. as one of the Global Outsourcing 100. The Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world's best outsourcing service providers based on applications judged by an independent panel of judges.

Excellence Canada's Progressive Excellence Program® (PEP), Platinum Level for outstanding achievements in organizational excellence, innovation and wellness – Ceridian Canada: The PEP for Excellence, Innovation and Wellness links to the Canada Awards for Excellence. The Governor General of Canada is the patron of this most prestigious awards program in Canada. Ceridian is only the second company in history to receive certification at the Platinum Level.

Excellence Canada (formerly NQI) Progressive Excellence Program Level 3 & Silver Award of Excellence – Ceridian Canada: In 2011, Ceridian Canada earned Level 3 Certification in Excellence Canada's Progressive Excellence Program (PEP) in the Organizational Quality and Healthy Workplace category. Ceridian was also one of just four organizations in 2011 to be conferred a prestigious Silver Award for rigorous application of criteria.

Excellence Canada Progressive Excellence Program Level 3 - LifeWorks: In 2009, Ceridian's LifeWorks EAP & work-life/wellness solution earned Level 3 Certification in Organizational Quality and Healthy Workplace. LifeWorks also won Excellence Canada's Bronze award, recognizing business excellence in quality, customer service and workplace health.

Best Employers in the GTA Award 2012: Ceridian was one of 35 large employers making up the Best Employers in the GTA. This is Ceridian's third time on this list (as published by The Toronto Star with input from AON Hewitt.)

Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Award 2013: Ceridian was honoured with this prestigious award for the second time in 2013. Winners were recognized for having corporate cultures that enhance financial performance and help to sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Payroll Provider Award (October 2013): Ceridian UK won the Payroll Provider Award for the second successive year at the 2013 Payroll World Awards. The Payroll World Awards, now in their third year, reward best practice and professional excellence in the payroll sector.

Best Workplaces in Canada Award 2009: Ceridian was named one of the Best Workplaces in Canada for the fourth consecutive year. (Canadian Business Magazine and Great Place to Work® Institute Canada)

Top Ten Places Where Employees Thrive 2009: Your Workplace Magazine launched a new award in 2009 called Top Ten Places Where Employees Thrive and Ceridian was proud to be named to the list. Winners were chosen based on a survey of employees together with an evaluation of the Company's HR practices and corporate culture.

Human Capital Leaders 2009: For the second consecutive year, Ceridian Canada was named to the list of Canada's Top Human Capital Leaders, ranking six out of a total of 50 organizations listed. This recognition is based on a study and survey of over 5,600 executives conducted by The Beacon Group to get insights into the state of human capital management in Canada and to determine "which Canadian companies are most admired for their overall management of people and human capital during the past 12 months".

Council on Accreditation (COA): COA has approved the accreditation of Ceridian Canada Ltd. LifeWorks Division through to February 28, 2017. The Council on Accreditation is an international, independent, not-for-profit, child- and family-service and behavioural healthcare accrediting organization.
