Vacation / Paid Time Off
Ceridian believes that it is important for our employees to have time off to pursue personal interests, spend time with their families, tend to other obligations, or just to relax. We offer a generous and flexible vacation & time-off program.
Vacation
As a new-hire, vacation will be pro-rated from your date of hire, up to 15 days.
After your first year, you will receive between 15-25 vacation days annually, based on your years of service with Ceridian.

Company Holidays
Ceridian observes national statutory holidays as well as those designated by each province and territory. Employees who meet qualifying requirements are entitled to a paid holiday. Those who are required to work during the holiday receive a day off in lieu or a premium wage for the time worked.
Personal Time Off
Ceridian allows eligible employees paid time off for obligations such as moving, religious observances, jury duty, and volunteer commitments. We also grant paid time off for compassion leave to show concern and support for employees at a time of personal loss upon the death of an individual significant to them.
Maternity, Parental & Adoption Leaves
Ceridian protects the positions of employees who choose to take advantage of the EI benefits for up to 52 weeks. Employees on maternity, parental or adoption leaves will accrue vacation time with pay and Ceridian will continue to pay company-paid premiums.
Supplementary Unemployment Benefit Plan
All full-time and part-time employees who have completed at least 6 months of continuous service with Ceridian, and who are in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI) or the Quebec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP) maternity, parental or adoption leave benefits, are eligible to receive salary "top-up".
