At Ceridian, we value our employees and therefore encourage them to achieve and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our work and life programs help our employees balance current and future needs that may affect them personally and professionally.
Employee Assistance Program (LifeWorks)
Ceridian provides employees and their immediate family or household members with access to LifeWorks – our integrated Employee Assistance and Work-Life and Wellness Services program. Employees have 24/7 access to confidential support and counselling provided by our expert counsellors, as well as to online resources and printed materials, on a wide range of issues such as emotional well-being, finances, parenting, and addiction. This demonstrates how Ceridian is committed to helping our employees lead healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
Wellness Promotion
Ceridian provides additional support to help employees achieve optimal health and wellness through various channels, such as health issue webinars & seminars, and health assessments. Local wellness committees create branch-level programs, including walking challenges, yoga classes, and healthy habit campaigns.
Flexible Work Schedules
Ceridian offers eligible employees the ability to work flexible schedules to meet their family care needs or maintain a work-life balance, whenever it is possible to do so. Examples include working compressed work weeks, as well as working modified summer hours to allow employees to enjoy summer activities.
Virtual Work Program
To support even more flexibility, Ceridian provides tools (PC laptops, cell phones, internet secure access) to eligible employees to enable them to work from home.
Business Casual Attire
The dress philosophy at Ceridian permits business casual attire – one that encourages a work atmosphere that is relaxed, friendly and comfortable while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. In addition, we have a "dress-down" policy on Fridays which permits employees to wear - in addition to acceptable business casual attire - jeans, walking shorts and athletic shoes.
Fitness Subsidy Program
This program enables our employees to be reimbursed up to $200 per year for costs associated with health club fees or fitness equipment.
Employee Fitness Equipment Purchase Program
This program enables employees to obtain fitness equipment, through the convenience of regular, manageable payments via payroll deduction. Eligible employees can also arrange for an interest-free loan.
Employee Computer Purchase Program
This program enables our employees to obtain the computer system of their choice, through the convenience of regular, manageable payments via payroll deduction. Eligible employees can also arrange for an interest-free loan.
Scholarship Program for Employees' Children
This is an annual program that encourages and assists dependent children of our employees in their pursuit of higher education. The gifts vary from $1,000 to $3,000, depending on need, and students who meet the criteria may renew their scholarships for up to 3 years.
