Official Rules

• This program is open to Ceridian Canada, Ltd. customers only.
   
• Program takes place from January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2010.
   
• Only Ceridian-defined customers are eligible to refer their colleagues in this program. Free payroll processing credit applies only to referrers using the Powerpay products which includes:
  • Powerpay Phone,
  • Powerpay Web, and
  • Powerpay Professional.  
• Names of new business prospects to be referred to Ceridian Canada, Ltd. must be submitted through an online web form at www.ceridian.ca.
   
• Referrals are defined as new business sales to Ceridian Canada, Ltd. that currently are not customers of Ceridian Canada, Ltd. (as determined by Ceridian Canada Ltd.). Payroll add-ons, payroll number changes, payroll splits or conversions from one Ceridian product to another are not eligible as referrals. Existing Ceridian customers who refer themselves under any of these same conditions are not eligible.
   
• To qualify for a program credit, the referral must be submitted by the close of the program, December 31, 2010, and the referred company must be implemented and run live by January 31, 2011. Ceridian Canada, Ltd. allots a 30-day period after the close of the program to allow for referrals received during the program to become live payrolls.
   
• Each referral submitted resulting in a live payroll with Ceridian Canada, Ltd. during the program period provides the referring customer a payroll credit equivalent to $50 (fifty dollars) as defined by Ceridian Canada, Ltd.
   
• The $50 credit will be applied to the referrer's Powerpay payroll processing fees with Ceridian Canada, Ltd. only when the referred company has completed one live payroll run.
   
• Each referrer and the company they referred must be a Ceridian Canada, Ltd. customer at the time the referral credit is paid.
   
• In order to ensure referral credits are processed properly, the referrer's company name and contact name must be accurate. The Customer must also include their Ceridian employer number with each referral submitted.
   
• The referral credit must be accepted as awarded (no cash equivalent).
   
• There is no limit on the number of referrals that a Ceridian Canada, Ltd. small business customer can make. However, maximum referral payment during the program period (January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010) is $500.
   
• Submission of a referral provides Ceridian Canada, Ltd. with the consent to disclose the customer's identity to the referred party.
   
• Hand-drawn and mechanically reproduced facsimiles of the entry form will not be accepted.
   
• Should the same referral be received multiple times by multiple referrers, only the first referral received will qualify for the referral credit if a sale results.

Entries must be received by deadline noted on specific program page. In the case of multiple entries for the same new business prospect, only the first entry will be accepted. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. Ceridian Canada, Ltd. is not responsible for technical failures in entry transmission. A communication will be sent to the referrer within 30 days of the referral's first payroll run. Any credit or credit notification returned to the sponsor as undeliverable will result in that credit being cancelled. Except as required by law, Ceridian Canada, Ltd. will not share any information with any third parties. Ceridian Canada, Ltd. may contact entrants in the future with offers we feel may be of interest. Employees of Ceridian Canada, Ltd. and affiliated companies and members of those employees' immediate families are not eligible for the referral credit. Any claims relating to this program must be resolved in Canada. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the referrer's name, hometown, likeness, and any text submitted for purposes of advertising and promotion on behalf of Ceridian Canada, Ltd. without further compensation.
