Ceridian Corporation Names Stuart C. Harvey, Jr. Chief Executive Officer
MINNEAPOLIS, MN: July 26, 2010 — Ceridian Corporation, a leading provider of human resource, payroll, benefits and payment solutions, today announced that it has named Stuart C. Harvey, Jr. its Chief Executive Officer, effective August 16, 2010. Harvey was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Elavon, Inc., a global payment solutions organization and subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp.

Kennedy, Ceridian’s Chairman. “He brings to Ceridian over 20 years of executive leadership experience in the financial services, banking, banking technologies and securities industries. Stuart has demonstrated the ability to profitably expand each business of which he has been a part. His growth experience will be an asset to Ceridian."
Prior to joining Elavon, he was a managing director with the investment banking firm of Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis. He is also a former practicing attorney having worked previously with two Chicago-based law firms. Harvey joined Elavon (formerly NOVA Information Systems) in April 2003.

Harvey, a graduate of Saint John's University in Minnesota, earned a law degree from The National Law Center at The George Washington University and an MBA degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
