Insights from Ceridian's 4th Annual Pulse of Talent Survey
Compensation is a fundamental component of employment and one of the most critical tools that an organization can use to attract, engage, and retain valuable employees.
Still, the Ceridian 2014 Pulse of Talent study found that many Canadian companies do not have a clearly defined compensation policy to underline the different pay and benefits levels. Even where such a policy exists, the policy is not always correctly explained to the employees.
The survey’s results indicate that Canadian companies could do more to organize their compensation policies and improve the ways in which those policies are communicated to employees.
